Join Yulia for three in-depth workshops exploring different Myofascial Release, Yoga, and Acupressure techniques for specific areas of the body.
Rolling in the Deep: Full Body Series is an update of previous yoga, myofascial release and acupressure workshops, expanded to offer a more focused approach and add NEW material in a way that deepens the understanding of the fascial web that holds us together and tells our story.
Combining Myofascial Meridians, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture Meridians, as well as Yoga of the Subtle Body, these workshops are designed to explore your unconscious ‘blind-spots’; unravelling common postural habits, symptoms of misuse, and how our “issues” are carried in our tissues, becoming postural patterns over time. From a yogic perspective, Prana (life-force energy), is imbedded in the fascia (the 3D web of connective tissue that holds everything together), so working with the fascial wrapping puts us into deeper relationship with more subtle aspects of our being.
Inspired by the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) bodywork series Yulia offers and her Postures to Prayers workshop trilogy, this full body workshop series is structured around three areas: lower body, upper body and the spine.
The invitation is to attend all three workshops as a whole, to experience them as an evolutionary practice for wellbeing. Alternatively each workshop can be booked separately, so choose one that appeals most.
Upper Body: Torso, Arms & Breath

The second workshop will explore the structures of ribcage and shoulders /arms and how they balance over the pelvis, inevitably asking us to look at our belly and our breath. As a physical container for our heart, lungs, our gut, diaphragm and the adrenal glands, this is a rich ground to delve into. As we apply different types of myofascial release and acupressure, we can also reflect how we tend to respond to stress or grips of worry, how we self-regulate, and how we physically hold on to patterns rooted in grief, sadness and heartbreak. By freeing up the breath, improving circulation in the areas of the upper chest, opening the pathways of your arms and bringing awareness to the tissues around our belly, lungs and heart, we can find improved vitality, feelings of wholeness, devotion and tenderness.
Spine, Neck & Head

The third and final workshop will look at the spine, neck and head – the physiological and energetic centres that connect the body and the mind. In this practice, we will look at the Central Nervous System and how tensions held in the neck and jaw are often a residue of “mind-pain” and mental overload on day-to-day basis. Releasing tensions in these areas can have a profound effect of calm on the entire mind-body complex and give sense of clarity and wholeness.
